Attending the Joint ASEAN Societies Reception

Unifi.id had the pleasure and privilege of attending the 2019 Joint ASEAN Societies Reception in the Shard.
We had the fantastic opportunity to meet with HE Tran Ngoc An, Ambassador of Vietnam, and HE Pisanu Suvanajata, Ambassador of Thailand.

With venture capital investment in U.K. tech reaching £6.3 billion in 2018, it’s clear that the U.K. is a technology powerhouse, and British and ASEAN companies are eager to collaborate to expand their businesses. Being one of these companies, we’re keen to deploy our systems within the ASEAN region.

The U.K. currently represents just under 13% of ASEAN regions’ trade with the EU, and with the U.K. hosting many of the leading companies in green tech and FinTech, the next logical step is to bolster these relationships with the countries of SE Asia.

These regions are continuing the drive towards greener and more sustainable technologies, and collaboration with the U.K. is one that’s very exciting.

As climate policies are continually evolving and the race to reverse some of the damages of current carbon emissions is in full swing, Unifi.id looks towards the ASEAN region as a huge potential for growth and integration of our occupancy sensor software.

Building towards net-zero and a greener future takes collaboration, and working with ASEAN countries is a fantastic pathway towards this future.
